As an alumni of Sauti Academy (under Penya Africa), her most memorable musical memory is of performing on the same stage as US based Sudanese singer Al Sarah, Dela from Kenya and South Africa’s Zahara in the 44th edition of East Africa’s Premiere Event Blankets and Wine. She then underwent a mentorship program under Amileena Mwenesi and together with 6 other female musicians performed ‘The Girl Affair’.
After organizing many of her own concerts and successfully selling out the Michael Joseph Center during the concert "Music My World", she is now releasing her first single ‘Lies I told me’ online.
"Lies I Told Me" is a different stance on heartbreak and how this time it was the girls’ own fault that she got heartbroken. She then faces herself and decides to move on and never allow herself to be in that situation again… no matter how long it takes.
