Michelle is BACK!!!! #CTA101

Michelle’s is a story of transformation from the peasant to the princess. She stepped on to the Kenyan scene as a rapper who worked her way up the ranks. She got into studio simply for the love of it and mingled with various urban producers. Not too eager to make a name for herself, she was always involved on her friends’ projects. Some of the people she worked with included, Edu Gee, Edinary(C-bash band) Bamboo and SoulChild.
She always had an unquenchable love for music. She got my biggest break when she did a remake of Bamboo's song Compe. This song made Kenya crazy. She kept doing music and was looking forward to doing a collabo with one of Kenya’s biggest names..guess who....Nonini!!

But that did not come to fruition because not too long after that Michelle got born again. The truth was that she had become pretty reckless and her life was exactly that - A Train wreck. She was quickly crashing into a brick wall. With all the partying, happy go lucky living, alcohol and dudes - they had become the centre of her life. This helped to hide a Michelle who was broken and concealed the fact that she had some painful things she was running away from.

In true Proverbs 22:6 style, she could not depart from the way in which she'd been raised. Michelle knew that she could only find solace in God and in April 2006, she did exactly that. Then her life began again. She embarked on the journey to being the great person that she was born to be. The path hasn’t been without hurdles. She went on to join Hip Hope/Chit Chat and eventually went back to being a solo artist. She was also actively involved in high school ministry with KKrew as well as a radio presenter on an urban Christian hip hop show. Michelle has been on a musical hiatus from 2010 on which she took time to sort out her personal life.

She is a member of Infinite Fellowship Ministries and is pretty much excited to be back on the scene. In terms of what to expect? She says her music is a God thing and where He leads, she will FLOW... #CTA101
