Kanjii Mbugua's Spectacular New Video #Rauka #CTA101

What an amazing past month it has been since we launched the #Rauka album. I continue to be amazed at the overwhelming response to the album. I love the stories of people finding encouragement and others being drawn into deeper and meaningful relationships with God. Possibly my best story is around converting that crazy 8am traffic jam time into one of praise, worship and reflection. (No better way to spend that time!)

The dream behind this album is to encourage and inspire people to get closer with God and experience the amazing power of worship. The song Rauka in many ways symbolizes this vision. So many times we want to praise God from our place of happiness. My experience has been that in our darkest of moments putting God in his rightful place accomplishes 1 of 2 things. The situation changes or my attitude toward my situation changes. Either way, break through!

Habakkuk 3: 17 captures this perfectly
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior."

What a powerful thing to do to Praise in your pain! This is the message of #Rauka. I believe that as we do this we will truly be catapulted into accomplishing the amazing things of purpose God is calling us into. Sing along!! Dance along!!! Get your praise on!! #AfricaLetsWorship #Rauka #CTA101

#PurposeOnPurpose With Mercy Njoki #CTA101

...I now know that my calling is to spread the message of order, of truth, of healing...of how God intended things to be. So music is not who I am...it is the staff in my hand. It is what I use to spread a message of grace and love, it is what creates platforms for the message of God's order to be spoken of, of healing, of sobriety, of truth. It is what makes me someone that a young girl somewhere can look upto or a young professional somewhere can listen to. It is the staff in my hand.

... and now that I know what I am about and what my purpose is, as God enables me, I am plugging into my God-given gift/calling in music and trusting God to open doors as He sees fit, to equip me and be my guide, to teach me, anoint me, skill me, divinely connect me and sustain me. I am purposing to work hard, to pursue this relentless and to be the best.

Now that I know what I am about, I'm ready...

2013 has been a full year for me... one of the things I got introduced to was GRACE!! I never knew grace nor have I ever known it like I have this year! God's constant faithfulness a midst my constant failings... I genuinely cannot fathom it but I am SO grateful! #PurposeOnPurpose
